    She wants to point out that Vick's ancestor's slavery experience should be considered as part of the reason as to why he did what he did.

    And you don't have to agree with her. I'm skeptical on that myself, but I realize that the past is prologue, so it's certainly possible, even likely, that it could be "part" of the reason, even if only a small or tangental part. You seem to want to be the grand arbiter of everything, Undercover; boldly declaring that "Slavery had absolutely ZERO to do with anything that is Michael Vick". That's ridiculous. It's like saying that Ted Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, JFk, John Jr., Cathleen Kennedy, Maria Shriver, et al, would still be household names if one Patrick Joseph Kennedy hadn't been a succesful state politician back in the 1880's. It's possible of course, but it seems very, very unlikely.
