This is one of the biggest bullshit arguments. Sinning against the holy spirit... Is that when I get chills, or is that when I overhear a JW admit they watched ET and Star Wars?

Evidentally, pedophillia is not a sin against the holy spirit.... Pity.

They do that on purpose to make everyone afraid that something so stupid as possessing a Journey record could be the Sin Against The Holy Spirit.

What it actually is, is coming to the realization that the whole crap about Original Sin is a scam. Once one realizes that, if they do not create this Sin Against the Holy Spirit doctrine, others would investigate it and realize that it is a scam. If everyone realizes that Original Sin is a scam and that the Bible lies, all the churches and Kingdumb Hells will go belly up. And, they will not be able to use Salvation to get people under their control (I have noticed that the condition for salvation is always to give the Church your time and money). And, it is impossible to ever see the need for salvation once you see Original Sin as a problem that God set up on purpose just to control everyone else, and that most "sin" is simply the drive to learn and practice what is good for self and society, not some Higher Cause.

This was always one of the most confusing and troubling doctrines when I was a JW. I heard the phrase many times, but it was never adequately explained what it meant. I often wondered if I had committed such a sin, and if I could really not be forgiven.

How does one know if they have sinned against the holy spirit? And what makes this sin unforgiveable, as opposed to murder, rape, or any other gross sin?

Vengance is Mine says GOD ALMIGHTY.......

To forgive is to allow their error to pass without punishment. A sin against The Holy Spirit is an "intentional" violation of GOD's law, without remorse or repentance. Satan is NOT forgiven for intentional acts and blasphemy against the Holy Spirt or GOD THE ALMIGHTY. Therefore satan will recieve all that is righteous in punishment.

One who knows that is is wrong to kill and does it intentionally, will reap what they sow as it is written. They will recieve punishment from GOD THE ALMIGHTY. An unintentional act is one that is done out of weakness or overwhelming emotions. If you have a weakness in the flesh and you sin or violate the law, you are forgiven. This is because your senses overcame you in the heat of passion.

One that is weak in faith and finds it difficult to believe in GOD is forgiven. One that accepts that GOD is Living is held accountable in their error and must confess their sins. Once they repent they are forgiven.......

To not recognize the Holy Spirit or completely remove Him as the Watchtower does. Consider this scripture:

    Matthew 28:19

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit "

Now examine the Watchtower baptismal questions:

    (1) On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?

    (2) Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization (Watchtower Bible and Tract Society) ?

They completely remove the Holy Spirit and replace it with themselves! That is the ultimate sin!

Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men . 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness , but is in danger of eternal damnation.

Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven .

To reject and replace the Holy Spirit for a human organization is blasphemy!
