I'm just back on (I'm in Australia, just woke up). It certainly helps to talk about it, I don't know if it makes me feel better. I have stopped going for 3 years now and have recently re-married someone I've known for years (a non practicing jw). But she got ds 'cause of alot of pressure and now our families won't talk to us. Its alot of pressure, so she is going to get renistated to please everyone and then just drift away.

Yes it may be somewhat wierd that the main US branch was an NGO and they disassociaed themselves when the news broke out but what many don't know is that WT$ is still an NGO under different foreign branches. I don't understand how they can tell some that they resigned after realizing it was wrong while still having other foreign branches part of NGO???
