I noticed that too. It's funny how just reading a scan posted on here is enough to bring out the negativity in me. When I was a jw, I felt so DOWN all the time...tired, guilty, & lonely. In hindsight, that is exactly how they like it. It's like they start off telling you of the blessings and joy you will receive. ...and then they throw in there the torment and violent death you and your children will get for not obeying the Faithful & Discreet Slave God.
