    That is absolutely laughable!
Why would anyone risk 20 years in the pen for a lousy amp that can be cheaply purchased from any pawn shop?
Other churches have real gold and antiques!
That anyone would bother to rob or vandalise a KH is really a stretch.

It may be to someone who knows just how little value there is in the building...but some people who break into Halls are expecting a whole lot more than they find. I know of at least two halls who had sound systems stolen in break ins. I know of others that were broke in to and the discerning thieves were pissed they didn't find anything of value so they played rock star staying at a fancy hotel and pretty much destroyed everything in sight. They just didn't have a TV to throw...or a window to throw it through.

Wanna bet they have 1914 for the security code? Hahahahaha! Our hall did.

They should have windows to show that they have nothing worthwhile to steal and to show that they have nothing to hide. It would stem the non-JW gossip.

I was in a place that looked EXACTLY like that!! It was the county jail....

It is creepy. It gives me claustraphobia just looking at it. The palm trees are nice but the brother that trimmed the hedge in front must have been drunk. I'm a stickler about landscape and have noticed that the hall I drive by on one of my weekly treks has weeds galore in the flower beds. What a reproach on Jehovah!

really creepy not to mentopn if you built a KH without windows in Australia people would die die of heat stroke.

45 degrees Celsius=113 degree Fahrenheit for days on end with no venterlation and the poor brother having to where this jackets they would be droping like flies

I might add that the WTS did not start building some KHs without windows until they had central air added. I can remember the hot days of summer in the older halls with windows with the windows open and the fans blowing.

Right Blondie. The three Kingdumb Hauls I attended with windows were built pre-central air. The other two had no windows, with central air... and mold problems because of lack of sunlight and ventilation on nice days.

It was safe to conclude that after the big A it would be unlikely that there would be electric to run the KH, so we'd need to meet elsewhere. We'd pick the biggest, nicest church to deadicate to Hojovah and enjoy the light and fresh air. The old KH could be broken up for firewood.
