Dude that happened to me smokin' da schit. I would go into work and vow "I ain't gonna smoke today because the days are too long"!
The irony is that when you are dead time does pass "really really really really slow".

I remember one time years ago someone slammed their brakes on in front of me and I just couldn't stop..rammed right into them..the whole time from when I knew it was going to happen everything went in slow motion. It was really creepy. I will never forget it.
After the collision (the whole front of the car looked like an accordian) I had no idea if I was hurt or dead. I looked in the mirror to make sure. I was ok but I was shaking really bad. If I had been hurt I don't think I would have felt it. That is one wierd thing. I wonder if it is like that for other crash victims that they too see things in slow motion?? I heard one time it is a built in protection to our bodies. I have heard others say that happened to them also. (slow motion when facing danger)
I wonder if that's what he was thinking when he mentions death?
