"It makes no sense to ask 'What happened before the Big Bang?' as there is no time before the Big Bang."
I asked this question a lot in my youth. However, I agree with the statement. Also, the bible agrees with the statement.
Genesis 1:1-3 (New International Version)
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
1. God is in the beginning, no time, no space, just matter (verse 2). 3. Big bang. When you have light, you have time (speed-distance/time). Also, light defines space (speed-distance/time). A simplified explanation for verse 3 but if you have a couple of Asprin handy have a read here about "relativity" Albert Einstein Am I a Creationist? Absolutely! All the best, Stephen -
