We just saw District 9. It was different than what we expected, but good story line. Exciting.

I saw Basterds last week. It was a good movie, but not what I suspected. The previews lead yoy to believe it's all Brad Pitt and a band of soldiers exacting revenge.....it's not. If you've seen the previews then you've seen just about all the action in the movie.
The rest is French subtitles.
But still a good movie.

Saw it yesterday and I'm with jeeprube. Some of the subtitles flew by so read fast.

I loved it...loved it...the parallels are fantastic. It's gotten really bad reviews from some of the critics but it addresses the issues in an interesting way and you can keep pulling back more layers to find those parallels. sammieswife.

I like how Tarentino decided to chuck history out the window with the ending, very cool; and the shoot out in the bar was pretty cool too. He did a nice job of building tension. It was a good movie.
I can't get over the way Brad Pitt pronounced "Nazi." Funny.

Quentin has always been too graphic for me.......
But if you wanna preview the movie before deciding...... why not check it out via streaming video....

Ahhh...but the graphics are not the guts of the movie. It is a movie that allows you to follow 'what if'.....sammieswife.

I'm looking forward to the new Scorcese movie, but I'm ticked that the release has been put back to next year!
