This is an interesting statement about Robert and one I use to consider. Watching him write his long sermons and then his hit and miss insults handed out because of the responses to his sermon have changed that line of thought for me. I actually think it was quite the opposite. I think Robert is the one the bullies picked on. Notice how is seems to disappear once cornered and parts from us by name calling and sophomoric put downs. He hides behind the anonymity of the Internet like a frightened child would behind his mothers dress, only peeking out when the coast is clear and he feels he can start preaching again. Also the timing of his silence speaks volumes about his true insecurities. His trying to belittle the respondent by calling them childish is his way of keeping his exalted place in his own mind.
Robert is not stupid but his arguments and level of intellect are limited to a very narrow spectrum.
I have come to the thought now that his stories of drug addiction and motorcycle gang association might also be untrue and only made up to give his true weak stature a feeling of being stronger than what he really is. He knows by hiding his true identity it is impossible for any of us to contradict or verify his stories. He has used the Internet well for this purpose.
The biggest exposure of who Robert really is and how his mind works is his manipulation of the impossible to disprove claim to be one of the anointed. That fact is impossible to discount for his fellow believers because they simply have to take his word for it. In his mind he has delusions of grandeur and needs to build himself up not only to those around him but more importantly to himself. I'm sure he is convinced in his own mind that he is what he says he is. The JW's and their interpretation of the bible has allowed anyone with such delusions to exalt themselves to such a position just simply by saying so. Reading the bible and being able to look up verses and read them off is a simple task a child could master and it is a key to try and back up his claim. Again Robert has manipulated others to buy into his weak and frail mental state.
His constant posting on this board contradicts his claim to be a true follower of the JW religion and exposes his delusions. He feels he is not only above all of us as exJW's but also the religious leaders who like him, claim to be the mouth piece of god. He, in his mind, is above all and can thus make up his own rules. That is a classic example of a delusional person. He also fears no reprisals or consequences for his action of posting on this board because of his delusions. To be above all and not accountable to anyone is to live in a fantasy land in your mind. Robert has built quite a home for himself in that fantasy land.
It's really scary if you think about it. It's thinking like that, that leads people into complete madness when their delusions are exposed and crumbled. Personally I enjoy his prophecies like the one for last October, I get quite a chuckle reading it. I just hope Robert doesn't crack. He could be very dangerous to himself as well as others.
