Forty years later, the times and laws have changed, how things were/are handled are different.
We even know now that someone like Garrido, had he come up for parole now instead of when he did
he would have never been let out.
Back then, a death while driving drunk was looked at as an accident, time and education has made it the crime that it is.
I want to think that Ted did everything he could to save Mary, I was not there I do not know........and I have not researched
enough to make a conclusion on the facts gathered at the time.
But, I have thought about the last sentence in the article, alot in the last few days

No - I was not suprised. Women often like bad boys. Hell JFK bedded women and he is revered. The Kennedy's are/were like Britains Royal Family in many ways
