Mr. Madsen's credentials should be reviewed before accepting his testimony as Gospel, IMHO.

For one thing, it would appear that he makes a living from being a conspiracy theorist.

Point taken.
Would you agree, however, that Wikipedia can be a valid starting point, as there are often links to external sites with better reputations?

Actually, Wikipedia is a great palce to start, especially of the info is based on and linked to articles of reputable news and information agencies.
As for this particular individual, there is nothing wrong with being a conspiracy theorist, however, when we decide to go public with public health info one must have MULTIPLE VERIFIABLE ACCREDITED sources.

WAC....maybe they'd rather trust the Moonies for their news source....
In 2000, UPI was purchased by News World Communications , a media company owned by Sun Myung Moon 's Unification Church . [1]
The news wire's daily coverage today includes domestic and international top news, business, entertainment, sports, science, health and "Quirks in the News" through its traditional NewsTrack newswire, as well as coverage and analysis of emerging threats, the security industry and energy resources through its "premium" service.
