Hi radiolady, welcome to the board. I beleive someone on the main forum was just asking for women's perspective in the JW org, and your experience will be very helpful to him.

Thanks for sharing--hope to see more of your posts.

I really enjoyed your story radiolady and wanted to add my <welcome!>

Take care of your daughter, and love her lots. Not to be better than those JWs in your family, but because she deserves it.

    Hope she gets better!

Btw, I am sure your radio voice is as sexy as your computer voice!

    Welcome to the Board, radiolady!

Indeed, you sound like a very courageous person, and it's nice to have you join us as we support one another here.

My mom has fibromyalgia and many times has had to deal with the frustration of uncomprehending relatives, friends and co-workers.
I'm sorry that both you and your daughter are afflicted. It's very tough, I know. An unseen disability, really.

And with all this, you call yourself "finally happy"! What a great perspective!

    radio lady,

i just wanted to say, I HATE YOUR DAUGHTERS FATHER. i really do. talk about hypocrisy. i mean he is supposedly in the org based on love. it is so unnatural for any human not to love their child. but yet he and my own father seem to have no problem completely turning their back on their own flesh and blood. its sick. how can you bring a child into the world and then not feel the natural bond that compells you to do anything to make sure they are happy and healthy.

    sick sick sick.

    Radiolady,

I agree you have a nice voice. But your voiced story have an echo the WT engineers wont be able to eliminate. Strange it only happens when you talk in their radio 'channel'.

    Hello radiolady:

I just noticed your story and want to add my "welcome" to you too!

Your story is a prime example of how so many who are studied with are so easily duped into baptism which forever affects their lives. Even when we break away from the WTS, it can still have an effect on us through our families who are still JWs.

I am so glad to hear you say you "had enough" though since that's how I felt when I finally made my decision to never go back...(hence my name = "Had Enough")

I'm sure you'll find the support and encouragement here that you need right now, as so many of us have.
