  Canary....I like how set in your mind you are, I envy that kind of freedom you have. I think thats my problem, 'feeling guilt over not living up to what you think God expects of you'. Ive had lots of food for thought. Will check back tomorrow and hopefully be able to find all these posts again :)

  Tell me, those of you that have left....did you immediately start celebrating birthdays, xmas etc? And with xmas.....did it ever bother you, I mean, knowing what we know that Jesus wasnt born on that day? Or was it more just a celebration and family time?

  I was d/f No I didnt celebrate Until two years after that.... I knew Jesus wasnt born on that day
  But I dont give a darn what day he was born,I am glad he was, When He was born they did give him gifts.
  Now I dont care what folks tell me I shouldnt do, I do wHat I want.I am considered evil by the WT
  But my daughter who just faded , never D/F is talked to by the witnesses here,&
  She has the Santa Clause the sleigh ,lights Christmas lights all outside her house,Big Christmas Tree
  But they still talk to her, ME???? I spend Chriistmas day alone.WHY??? Because I made 10 people JW's
  They MUST NOT on orders from the old men at Brooklyn ,so I feel I dont have the right now to go & forget
  what I did to them, One of my daughters is still in the WT ,so I hope she is lurking here & knows I spend
  that day praying for them all. Birthdays I do celebrate with a vengence at 82 It is a ruddy Miracle I am still
  around after being bombed, try to kill myself, got beatean to a pulp at times ( hubby) because I wouldnt
  leave the cult....So I celebrate all except Halloween WHY NOT THAT??? Because that was Russells birthday.LOL

  Also wedding rings are pagen also...They all wear them. & are forbidden to take em off.I was by the elders,
  they said that Brothers would think I was not married & it sent them a wrong message LOL

  So it is not only posting here, but what you say that counts. A WT Apologist who humbly repented would probably get away with it...after counselling for dealing with the d/f'd - but if we say anything negative, then we are viewed as apostate the same as using any other media to communicate our thoughts.
