Anyone seen this film?
I saw it years ago and absolutely howled at it.
The way it takes the piss out of the religious leaders, the newly turned christians, and has a cheeky stab at the Romans and Pontius Pilate is great.
Seeing the funny side of what so many people take so seriously, for me is a breath of fresh air.

At the time it came out in the theatres, it was Restricted here in Canada and I was underage. One of my male friends was very mature looking for his age and got us all in. It was a blast!
"Freedom or Crucifixion?" Where the guy was asking the queue which sentence/decision each had received. I loved that part...
And the song while they're all strung up.... "Always look on the bright side of life..."

The 'Stoning' scene was unbelievably funny;
