I hear conflicting reports about Samoa. Some say it was a small tsunami with no deaths and others are saying it was far, far worse.
Current expectation is that a 2-3 foot surge will hit Hawaii after 1:11pm HST:

Of course this is a sign of the last days, we should be raising our heads erect because our deliverance is getting near. I really used belive that BS and overlook the human tragedy behind such disasters. Even those not effected by death and injury will have to rebuild their lives and face a long period of ongoing trauma.

I guess it turned out much worse than the early reports.
I found it interesting to see the Tsunami Warning Center posted data. Much faster than the news org. of course.
You can only imagine how terrifying it would be for those victims.
We met a JW in Maui who shared her parents experience in Hilo and how they almost drowned in their house. They said the water kept rising with their heads touching the ceiling, before the water level went down.
