I am over it AE. I healed over time. People heal in their own way....but, I think your observing others as loving the field service activity is their facade. The kids have to do it, they have to put up that happy, united front.

Yes, I am sure some kids do love it. However, I think even those that love it it comes from a mind-control where it was not natural or loved at first. But the child is drilled with being told he is doing Jehovah's will, he is warning others with an important message, all others will die, any bad things or embarrassment is simply attacks from Satan. This was the case with me. And by the time I was 12 or 13 I told myself I loved it. others thought I loved it. I felt guilty for not loving it enough.

AE - if your kids said they didn't want to go out what would you do? You couldn't leave them at home alone.

For a lot of parents weekends are the only time they can go out - that means taking their kids with them! There are no other options for them!

we dont teach our kids people will die if not told about Jah, we just enjoy talking about Jehovah. I dont give them mags to place either,we arent a magazine shop, they have a few tracts but usually they just chat and thats that. I dont go out to place mags either, cant be one of them sisters who has to place 9834789274823 mags a week lol...i just want to share the scriptures with people or talk in general, its nice to even find people who have a love for God.

    AE..

Id go mad if i saw a kid being punished for that, no kid has ever told me they had to go out or answer...i feel sick now, really i do.

No JW Kid will ever tell you they they will be punished for not going out in the field service..

A JW Kid may do it once but never again..

There is Punishment for telling the truth about what really go`s on.

There is absolute Hell to Pay..For showing your JW Parents to be Bullys and Hypocrites..

scotinsw, if they didnt want to go out then one of us would stay at home with them, my mums great too she would have them, but they havent ever said that although we always say "who would like to go on the ministry" and they scream"me me me" then we ask would they like to do 1st call or street witnessing, we make it fun, honestly having kids makes you remain a big kid too :)

AE, even if that is your agenda that is not the theme permeating the activity. It is stat oriented. It is not about deep discussion...it was fruitless. few were home...in the rare case someone was home 99.9% were not interested. So little time was spent preaching...a majority walking, traveling, etc.

AE I'm quite well thank you I have 2 kids my son is 7 and my daughter is 18 months and a real belter and we have one on way due in January, why do you doubt this? your the only one who does so, my Facebook is packed with pics, ask Issac, it's odd that you doubt this, no one else does, of what benefit would it be to me to make up such lies?
