  no whip round?

  you know when people get into difficulty or have a dire situation going on they used to announce it from the platform then it was given

  to the person in need.

  as a kid i did wonder why it didnt come out of the box cos everyone had put in in the first place and it was supposed to be for

  brother n sisters and the hall etc and they were always going on about it going where it was needed, but at least they had a whip round

  (few n far between but the thought was there) when someone really needed it

  Due to Hollywood, most people aren't comfortable with aging, illness, plump bodies, homeliness. Very few people are going to love aging.

  theyre messing with clothes sizes here so people think theyre a smaller size.

  great for vanity but a pain in the arse when i'm trying to size up donated clothes, cos older clothes are sized the old way some are sized the

  new way and when you put the two together theyre way out.

  I don't think most people would be focused on wrinkles, a few extra pounds, plain looks, etc if so called ideal images weren't constantly shoved down our throats by Hollywood and the media in general. I do believe we'd be more comfortable in our own skins. If you feel relatively well with no major health issues, why would gray hairs, different sized bodies and character lines matter so much? There is a lot of discontent over shallow things. I'm as guilty as the next person when it comes to vanity.
