I remember a Elder saying one time that he can't leave because' he's just invested too many years into it, and there was no sense to him to leave even though he knew it was NOT the truth. I think mybe he told me because it was my parents that studied with him in the first place.

Going to a Home..Not from House to House..

Jesus and his Apostles spoke to Small Groups,in Peoples Homes..

Now go read Acts 2:46. See where it says 'private homes'??? That is the identical Greek word rendered 'house to house' in 5:42. Why is the same word rendered differently in these 2 cases? The WT wants 5:42 to mean door to door ministry as they do it today...so they render it as such and assert it means uninvited visits to each and every home. 2:46 is obviously not each and every home of unannounced visits, unless you think the apostles took communion in the homes of non-beleivers. This is done to muddy the fact that 'house to house' does not necessarily mean each and every home but can have a much more selective meaning, such as the homes of belivers.

Check you kingdom interlinear and you will see I am stating a fact.
