Yeah, like the measurement of a passageway in the great stone witness, a pyramid. Didn't Russell use that to establish the time of the end? I may have some details wrong, but the watchtower was formed on the occult. Strange how well they hide it from members.

Helps to be able to rewrite its history.

Russell learned his dates from Nelson Barbour who learned his basics from millerites who got the idea from John Brown.... Russell's pyramidolagy was just another BS scheme to support bogus dates that he seemed to have naively learned to believe in, it was not occult even though it is odd. It's kind of like learning the date calculations from the wts today and looking back and saying we were into occult which wouldn't be correct because we let ourselves come to believe in BS ideas and so was Russell. One of the biggest problems with wts is that when Russell died, Rutherford continued to build on date nonsense instead of eliminating all the stupid dates which by that time they should have realized were totally incorrect but also were wrong to teach publicly as anything of value. Basic proof they were not cleansed nor chosen in 1919 but rather that they like all othere religions are just men run fraud organization.

wow, this is the 12th post in reply to the subject.... 12 Apostles, 12 "apostates"

The symbolic number twelve indicates a theocratic organization number of completeness. The typical theocratic organization of Israel had twelve tribes. (Ex. 28:21) Jesus appointed twelve apostles as the foundation of his spiritual Israel. (Matt. 10:2; Eph. 2:20) Finally, in Revelation 7:4-8 there are listed the twelve tribes of spiritual Israel which comprise Christ’s theocratic kingdom organization. Twice twelve or the number "24" also appears to refer to theocratic organization.—Rev. 4:4.

Wow, looks like this post is complete! (though if someone else has posted whilst I type this then it could be #13, doh!)

I think someone faithful and discreet 'discerned' that when you put 10 and 7 together and came up with 17!!!! I really need a scan of this particular issue of The Watchtower, if anyone out there has it available...PRICELESS!

Also known as the book of Begat.
