If the friendships are still conditional, the answer is NO!

Why would anyone want to associate with these judgemental, emotionally crippled idiots?

I have some friends who I would miss very much. I coming to an acceptance though, that very soon they will see me as "bad association" so will start leaving me out of their social lives. I am in the process of trying to make new friends. When I have developed some new ones the friendships at the KH will not be enought to entice me back.

I'm confident that I can accidentally find better association with 90% of the other organized groups in the phonebook -- both religious and non-religious.

While there are old friends at the Hall that I truly do miss, I could not go back. Too many strings attached.

I've always thought what my response would be if somebody asked that question. My answer is that I'd rather catch Aids and live to be a thousand years old than to return to this religion of baby killing, child excommunicating, Jesus f***ing, God s***ing religion. My integrity is simply too valuable for me to exchange it for some phony love and utter falsehoods.

    What social aspect?

They want me to just meet other men. They did everything they could to make sure I would get zero benefit from the "social" aspect. And, if I am going to get zero social benefit, it had better have zero cost or else it is not cost effective. For me, the cost would be time wasted on those cockroaches, being hounded to go back to supporting the organization itself, and wasting more time and money doing field circus under pressure that I have to do it all the time. Not to mention, most of what I ever get makes me want to .

I could never go back, and neither could my Wife.

But at present she is going through a stage of regret at the loss of our social life, and the distancing that our family (Mine, her side are all out really)

has done. they are civil but not welcoming, and she feels awkward now in even speaking to them.

So any suggestions on how to build a social life from scratch when you are two old farts like we are would be appreciated.

But we are both with "Big Willy" on how we feel about going back !

    Love
