Would you go back for the social aspect?

Let's just consider 'socially' and what it means.

It means being around them in a social setting. Perhaps at a restaurant (after a meeting). Or, in their home sitting on the sofa (after a meeting).

Anyway... I've been around a few JWs in a 'social' setting. They're boring. Their sense of humor is retarded to the level of a fourth grader (no offense meant to fourth graders).

If they can't talk about the latest WT or assembly - they have nothing to talk about.

So... you end up sitting around thumb fiddling... wondering how soon you can make an exit.

    Regards,

A couple of weeks ago I might have thought it would be nice to go back for 'the social aspect' --- then

I was invited to a 'pig roast'; arrived early - hosts very nice, a JW sister with non JW husband, as the JW's arrived they very carefully avoided Sister fokyc and myself, in 4 hours - 2 sisters spoke with me but not one single brother said anything

NO , I would not return for the social aspect or for that matter any aspect, count me out.
