If you are still in, do you wish sometimes to be DF?

I fully understand your position, I have attended the KH with my wife, but very seldom up to now, I would never enter it again though.

I have told several of the elders both to their faces AND in writing that they are liars, I have expected the call to a JC but it has never come.

So I just carry on waiting, I will never write a letter of Disass'n.

It would cause family problems if I was D'Fd, it might be a happy solution!

Albert Einstein's position is a mirror of my own.. For good family reasons I prefer not to be disfellowshipped but sometimes the boredom of sitting at those damn meetings gets to me.

Like Fokyc I have been straight with the elders in the past. Perhaps that is why they do not want to talk with me now. I believe the U K elders are less likely to want to pursue "apostasy" than their American counterparts seem to be.

If it was just me and my wife I would DA myself tonight... but we have kids (son is 7, twins were born this year).

If Iam in - Iam the "spiritual head" of the family and nobody in KH dares to "spiritualy encourage" my wife and my kids ...... Iam the one who explains the Bible to my son, Iam the one who teaches him history of JW, I am the one who teaches him about false prophets.....

If Iam out - My wife will get regular shepherding calls, if my son goes to KH he will get encouraged to "reach out" and to please Jehovah and not to listen his "spiritually weak" daddy....

So thats why Iam afraid to leave and disasociate completely...

When I will be sure all my kids are big enough to recognice cults and mind control, I will be happy to DA... but it will take some years....
