You are right, Purps. Grieving is healthy and try as I might, I don't think I will be able to stifle it.

    Still, I am thankful.

Good to see you too Robyn. We did have some great times together. Bet the JWs at the congregation we visited that time are still wondering when we will be back. I'm sure the JWs reported at least 5 hours for the time they spent love bombing us.

    LMAO!

Weren't they a sweet congregation? I would feel badly about it if it hadn't been so much fun.

We are such evil, EVIL, apostates. LOL

I had a kid from my class die from complications of diabetes in his early 20's. Several more have been cut down by car wrecks. One of my little brother's classmates was killed in Iraq. One of the school counselor's kids (2 or 3 years older than me) has underwent treatment for a brain tumor, and nearly died. At least 5 of my school teachers are dead.

At some point I began to realize I'm too old to die young. I was born in 1978. Such is life.
But I figure the world got along fine before my time, and it will get along fine after me. Might as well enjoy what we have today and not worry about what we won't have tomorrow.

Thank you, JD, for reminding me of this truth.

I wish I had some chocolate.

Wasn't he great? And such a good guy.

He had a dream in which an angel told him that for the rest of his life he would only be able to say one word. The angel asked him what that word would be. John replied, "Love."
