This is so much fun.
My daughter told me to make pillows for my grandchildren for Xmas. Great. Point me in a direction and see what happens
Pillows. Pillows are boring. What 4 or 5 yr old wants a boring pillow.
But. . . . make those pillows fun and then sit back and watch the fun
So I made pillows.
The 4 yr old loves cats so I made her 2 cat pillows
This fellow is sitting on a satin pillow and is velcroed on so she can take him off if she wants to.
This one's eyes are stitched on so he looks a tad off balance - sort of like one of my old cats
The 5 yr old is heavy into dinosaurs. The kid is crazy for them so.....
This little fellow was made from a dinosaur print material so this is a dinos-on-the-dino pillow
Camophlaged dino
The 15 yr old isn't into stuffed animals so what to do
Now you would think making a straight simple pillow would be easy. This would up being the most difficult pillow. I had the idea to put her name all over the pillow in dozens of different fonts. Dumb dumb dumb. I just could not get the letters right. So I finally opted for one set of vey large letters. The bacground is green - her favorite color. But after using up all my different colored material for all her small letters I had only a beige felt left yuck
Then I went to the store for something else and saw this lovely sheer print
It's 4 feet long
Now I want to make more. I want to make a cat and a poodle (long story)
