The trouble is, people like me sit there thinking "OMG, she is gorgeous !!" ... but I wouldn't dream of picking up a phone and voting.
Then a million sad middle aged women thinking Donny is hot probably flood the switchboard.

For real dancing, please see "So You Think You Can Dance?"
This girl was in my congregation. I'm hoping we have one more thing in common besides both having great legs, but I don't know whether she is in or out.

Leolaia, I love that music video. It cracks me up every time.
I remember reading somewhere that Weird Al's selection of Donny Osmond for the back up dancer position was because Donny was "the whitest person he could think of". LOL

I just think you're all jealous of Donny.

Oh Mary, do you realize you brought back a memory that includes me watching my parents listening to this, each holding a can of PBR, singing this? Thanks, and happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I will say, Donny Osmond is the best dancing Mormon I have ever seen.

I love Donny Osmond and I think he has a great voice. I just don't get the sex appeal.
I thought Mya should have won also. I should have voted.
Donny, Kelly and Mya were my favorites from the first show.

One thing thats weird about the show is watching people who hardly have any dancing skills dance with professionals it really accentuates their
incapabilities, some painfully more than others.
Oh well I guess its something a little more entertaining than the heavy dramatic violence crap that prevails over allot of the evening TV
these days. Something the whole family can watch, including the kids.

Yes I watched but Canadians can't vote on US shows. I would have voled for Donny. The man is over 50 and was dancing agaist much younger people - some younger than his own kids! He has got to get points for that.
The judges keep talking about personality and connection with the audience.
Kelly, 25 yrs old, got that one as the underdog. And the poor girl kept at it despite the failures. Her sheer determination made me proud of her. This girl has had life stacked against her and she came out a survivor not for getting to the finals but for not giving up.
Donny, 52 next month, is a showman. He knows how to connect. He knows what his audience wants and consistently gives it to them in a very real and honest way.
I think Mya, 30 yrs old, missed this one entirely. Yup she had the moves. The girl can dance. Technique was fabulous. But never once did she make me want to clap and cheer for her. (Yes I do that when someone moves me.) You knew she would come out and deliver. But there was no human interest in it for me.
Go Donny Go. And man did he go
