Ok I have heard that at the beginning of the 80's the instruction said that the elders could remain as elders even if they had sinned 3 years before as long as their lives looked like they had Jehovahs blessing. I heard this instuction was givien in Elders meeting.
Does any one has more information? I needed ASAP

Yep, you heard right. The unwashed R&F have to grovel before the 3 men in polyester suits no matter how much time has passed. But if "a number of years" have passed and the tight-lipped, sinning, Elder has been able to keep it under wraps, and appears to have "Jehovah's Blessing" (whatever that is) he gets a pass.

I was into porn when they made me a MS, later after fessing up they let me stay one. let me pioneer, go to pioneer school, serve where the need was great, apply for bethel.
