Doe, your thoughts are duly noted. Thanks for sharing them. I can only say that my intent was not as you suggest.

I did not want to be disingenuous towards Perry or any of my "right handed" foils by feigning false sincerity. What I apologized for, I meant. There is much of what I said towards them that I do not in any way feel sorry for or apologize towards. But some (not all) of my words contributed towards a disintergration of a debate.

Why insult their intelligence or views by apologizing as if I agree with them? I only apologize that my manner was not better.

I still think they are wrong and I am right.

And I don't wish any of them (even Perry) ill will, though, again, I disagree with them so much so as to object to almost all of their religious and political views.

Doe, in this case, I can only say, I respect your right to contribute as you have. If I ever cause offense to you in the future, I will apologize thusly.

AllTimeJeff, I found your apology totally humble and sincere, and I respect you even more for having posted it.

I have no idea why some posters are reading between the lines looking for a meaning you never intended to convey.

Well JD maybe you didn't like the apology but you must win the prize for most ungracious response to one I have ever witnessed - what did he do eat you kids? I can't be bother to read what ATJ actually apologised for but man you look about as rude and condescending as it gets.

JD...you get it. Some don't. And, I have a feeling ATJ gets it, too (but he'll never admit it). Or...if he does, it will be with caveats...lots of them :)
