No, I don't believe the stars and planets or positions thereof relative to the earth at the time of my birth has anything to do with who I am.

But I have 4 planets in a splay pattern in the house of Virgo and my lucky number today is 3.

    lol

I think they are a tool, not absolute. Not prophetic, but they can help you understand humans a bit better. I certainly would not believe anything as absolute.

I guess the best reason I believe in the stars is that I can see them out there, they must exist.

Can the sun or te moon effect us? our well being? Yes, of course.

Can a star that is mliions of light years away and possibly extinct by the time we see its light?

    Nope.

Does it matter when we were born and does it effect our personality?

If it did, all born under a sign would be the same and that is not the case.

Following horoscope readings is about as false and ignorant as most religions are.

Interesting isn't that they were developed about the same time in human history.

I'm with AdaMakawee on this one. No absolutes yet innumerous possibilities.
