I used to be able to do the regular Rubik's cube in about 5-6 minutes but that was back in the eighties. I do have a cube at home which I did a few years ago but it took me days.

I didn't think you could dis-assemble them without removing some of the stickers since they hide the screws that hold it together?

I find algebra to be very different to doing mental arithmetic, algebra and trigonometry I find much easier than mental arithmetic.

    Palmtree,

Algebra is pretty straightforward if you have a good teacher. Most people use algebra without realising that they use it.

For example if you have a bill for three items that comes to £2.50 and one item was £1.30 what was the price of the other two identically priced items?

No problem I can solve them within 20 minute at the least.

Jus think logical and practice a few days, then you get to find out the tricks

    Wrong.

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to solve a cube that has exploded and someone has put it back together with a piece the wrong way around.

It's ok for those of us that recognise that it can't be done and can fix it, but for a beginner it is a shortcut to insanity.

If you turn one layer 45 degrees you can pop the middle cube of a side out. This allows you to correct whatever is wrong and make the cube do-able again.

If the cube starts getting stiff, candle wax is a great lubricant.

    Have fun
