My mom told me that she heard a recording of some of the Assembly and they really hit hard on the above mentioned things and ANYTHING that can take precious time away from the ministry. (Even she sees it's too much control).

Computers can be a real time waster.
But I'm an intelligent enough person to know when I'm spending too much time on something and can curtail myself, without being nagged and made to feel guilty about it like a little child.

Are they going to stop using Text Messaging, Cell Phone Use and Computers at The World Headquarters and at Patterson? Are they going to get cell phones that you can't text on? Are the Elder body going to go back to letter writing when they need to make contact with others.
Do they shut off their cell phones at Bethel and at meetings. Most importantly, are the pioneer sisters going to obey this commandment. How will they ever stop gossiping to one another while counting their time at the different coffee shops.
