  I read somewhere that religions rarely change from within. They respond to outside pressures. I think it's about time the WTBTS get's some outside pressure on its treatment of women.

  Long past time. But it takes someone with an extraordinary interest in the issue, as well as the time and energy to push it, like the Silent Lambs dude or the Blood Reform folks. I wonder if the woman on The View who was raised a JW would be interested in pursuing it. . .

  That was the elders advice to me. But there is no male or female in Christ.
  If your a believer we are ALL equal in HIS view .I can remember when I was a youngster
  women were viewed as Chattels in the courts of England,..

  and i truly believe that women are the stronger of the species.

  Women outlive men by about 7 years, while also giving birth to more humans, with a body that is physically weaker then men.

  If that doesnt prove who's the toughest, I don't know what does.
