    Ha!

I just came back from San Diego. The JW's had a table set up at the airport there. They were just waiting for people to approach them.

What a waste of Freakin' time! (losers!)

I`ve driven through little BC towns heading for the coast early in the morning..

Theses towns are frigg`n small ,no one is on the street early in the morning..

Except Jehovah`s Witness`s doing Street Corner..

    What`s the Point?..Preach to a stray dog?

    .................... ...OUTLAW

...it was an easy way to get in a hour, before heading out into the door to door work.

    There are easier ways...

We had RVs on the opposite sides of town. 20 minute drives between them...and if we were lucky they were NH. Then off to another one. In two hours time, we made 4 calls.

Then there was the old 'drop off an old mag at the laundromat on the way to the hall' trick. Stop, drop a mag, start your time and then count the time you spent while sitting in the hall during the daily text and car group arrangements. We did this for years until a CO heard about it and put a stop to it (or did he? )

But the best of all, I learned from a pioneer brother who worked in remote areas. He said he could go for hours in the service day before talking to his first person and there were no laundromats or public places to drop off magazines so when he woke in the morning he opened the window of his cabin and yelled "Praise Jehovah" and started his time.

I saw jws doing this in my area but..................officially the WTS says:

*** km 4/06 p. 1 par. 2 Show Personal Interest—By Good Eye Contact ***Establishing eye contact with others is an effective way to lead into a witness when doing street work or witnessing in other public places. One brother watches the eyes of those approaching him. When he makes eye contact, he smiles and then presents the magazines. Using this approach, he enjoys many pleasant conversations and places much literature.

    Wow Blondie...

Was that quote from April 2006 or April 1906?

undercover, it just shows that the rank and file don't really pay attention to what the "slave" says..................I hated street witnessing and would not do the automaton approach.

Is there any better way to describe the controlled idiocy of a indoctrinated JW that stands on street sidewalk

with hardly anyone passing by except for maybe a stray dog. Its actions like these that makes the general public

not want to answer the door when the JW come a calling. Frankly I don't blame them.

I wonder if you remembered who you saw there? There is a small possibility that I might know them.

Those airport hours were very easy...though I remember nearly falling asleep every time I sat in those little uncomfortable chairs.

I don't remember-two sisters- they are all drones anyway.

My parents went to talk to them. It was probably the only conversation they had all day but they probably counted 8 hours. I looked at my daughter and said "Could you imagine wasting a day just sitting there? That's why you are going to college".
