Mine does. Goes way out of her way to stir up trouble, conflict, and manipulate the former and non-dub relatives into not having a nice holiday. Goes to extremes to do so, and is at it again, right on cue.
Do dubs intentionally mess up other people's holidays/birthdays?

Hey Rebel! About time someone calls her out don't you think? Threaten her with apostate material being brought out if she doesn't behave herself! ha (just kidding)

Some seem to take great pleasure in doing this. Making jokes about it, too. It's rude and incredibly disrespectful.
Others, like my sister, mess it up by keeping away at a time when extended family just wants to get together and enjoy each others' company.

Hmmm... All right, just to show you how devious I can be.... If I were in your shoes, I'd get the relatives together on this little 'practical joke'... I'd create the illusion that your Dub - let's name her "Sanctimonius Sally", just for the heck of it - is participating in parties... Especially birthday parties... Then I'd take - or edit incriminating video or photos - or both - and let her know that you have some 'fond memories' of her at so-and-so's party, and wouldn't Brother Anal-Retentive or Brother Quick-to-Disfellowship love to see them???
Just my little fantasy - er, contribution? - to your situation... Zid

They sure love knocking on doors bright and early holiday mornings.

yes, I think many of them do.
many also have mental problems, so it is understandable

I remember avoiding family gatherings during the holidays and knocking on doors trying to spread the WTS message. I could tell that the non-jw family was hurt and did not understand my position. But I was not out to hurt any of the family members at the time, I thought that this was what Jehovah wanted as the WTS stated. Sadly in my case it shows that some mess up other's holidays totally out of ignorance or being blinded by the WTS teachings not out of hate of the family members.

My family always tries to do this. They maybe will ask to see my children once a year, and they always ask for them on some major holiday. They also try to do things to interfere with my wedding anniversary, too.

My young nephew said that people who have birthdays are "suckers!"
Man I had to bite my tongue. I know that his mother [my sister] used to be allowed to go to our cousins birthday nearly every year! I know who the sucker is..... the kid with no presents...
They say, oh we can give our children a present any time we want, we dont have to have a birthday... then go ahead and give them nothing!!!
