you could..... invade one of your friends houses, or maybe volunteer to help out at a charity for the homeless soup kitchen or something along those lines if there are any near you.
or adopt someone who has no one to share the day with either. got any neighbours who are short of family?

There are tons of volunteer opportunies even on xmas day, including adopt-a-senior-citizen or spending time with kids at shelters. Just get out of the house. Its a bad feeling to be alone xmas day. Been there done that.

Personally, I've been quite selfish on Christmas 3 years ago when I had my first xmas alone. I wrapped up in front of the fire and watched as many christmas films as I could and ate mince pies and christmas pudding!
But ya know, you could volunteer in the morning and curl up in the evenning :)

But I hope some one comes along & invites you.....
Otherwise volunteering too, will give you a happy feeling.

or hop on a plane, i havent got a palace (and the pups just ate the bathroom...bless) but i got a spare sofa and we're having duck n chicken.

I like going to nursing homes. They're warm and cheery, there are generally volutneering opportunities, and the people there are so often overlooked and so appreciative of visitors! They have some good stories to tell too!
