Hm, I'd have to ask the hubby but he's asleep right now. He's written his own business plan and knows the ropes. Ok, I just woke him up and he's laughing but he said to search for something called a "one page business plan". I hope that helps.

What makes you think the company I work or doesn't have a business plan? From what did you come to that assumption? I am an independant agent that was asked to just outline what my goals were for operation my business, since I'm 1099'd I'm basically self employed and in control of my future and how much earning potential I have.

They are most successful in their business, marketing, and sales.

Doesn't sound like you need a business plan but a marketing plan. Now, considering you have a manager, apparently you are not independent, in which case it is not even a marketing plan but more like you are writing 2010 goals and action items to accomplish them.

Honestly, it sounds like you need mentoring. I recommend you enjoy the rest of your sunday evening and have a frank talk with your manager in the morning.

This probably not what you wanted to hear, so I'm officially jumping off this thread...
