Who will be making cookies, and what sort have you planned?

Me. Sugar cookies, oatmeal-cherry-walnut, chocolate chip, already made; tonight, molasses. My daughter will visit and make another four or five varieties that she gives as gifts.

What about you?

Well, Lemon Bars for sure, and these butterscotch oatmeal cream filled bar things I found a recipe for, that look yummy. There's sweetened condensed milk in them, I've never cooked with it before. Butter spritz with a hint of almond extract, they just melt in your mouth. I may do chocolate chip, but I'm thinking about these little chocolate thumbprints with Nutella in them! They look very good. I usually make little pecan puffs.

I'm having trouble deciding.

Me? Sugar cookies from the tube-sprinkled on top with the red and blue sprinkle decorations. I made homemade cookies only once-they could have been used for a hockey puck they were so hard. Oh, well, I do love sugar cookies!

C'mon beks...I didn't say that exactly. There are some things about xmas I don't like but there are some things I like, like the parties and the pretty lights... and the booze.

My non-JW grandmother always gave us Moravian cookies around the holidays so it is one of the few holiday traditions that I actually have...

Maybe I'll do what my hippie neighbor does.... they get a live tree and then replant it after xmas.

Oh yes, HB's family got a live tree when he was a kid, and they planted it after the holidays. It's now about 3 stories tall!
