Who's been removed from Pioneering, and what was the reason given, and was it true?

A sister in our congregation was removed for being extremely rude to the CO. The thing is she was rude to everyone all the time. Her hubby stopped pioneering at the same time, but continues to serve as an elder. Great example of headship.

    rude to the CO?

does that translate as her having an opinion? - or was she actually really rude?

No she was really rude to him. Accused him of ignoring her as he was about to get on the platform to do his public talk, he obviously had other things on his mind, but after the meeting she called him all sorts of things. Honestly I would rather spend a whole year with the CO than 10 secs with this cow of a sister.

I wasn't removed from pioneering but was 'prevented' from auxilliary pioneering. At the time I was..... "not dating"..... my boyfriend (husband), but because his mum and dad didnt want us to 'see' each other.....which we didnt until we were "allowed", they continually complained to the elders whenever we worked together in the ministry or if we happened to be seen on a bus or walking down the road together. Apparently, when this elder approached me to tell me why they couldnt accept my pioneer form for that month, he told me it was because ...'we were the subject of gossip within the congregation'....and it looked as if we were publicly disobeying his parents wishes! Because of that, I wasnt exemplary enough and wasnt allowed to 'officially' spend 60hrs traipsing round Glasgow in the pouring rain and freezing cold. I could of course 'unofficially' do it cos that would be ok with Jehovah....but not if I put my name on a bit of paper.....Hmm!

what gets me is you can be marked for disobeying your parents even if you are about 30. theres no way to win.
