if you're dfd you have absolutely every right to treat him or any other elder as you would any other nuisance caller if they come knocking on your door whether theyre looking for someone else or not. they only have power if you give it.

You Know? The gaul the sob's have is unbelievable, this guy really thinks he has power over you. Next time go to the door with a cell phone and call 411 (info) and tell them you have an intruder and you are about to shoot him and slam the door, I bet he want come back! (work for me)
Unfortunately you can't do that in the UK.
I think your sister will be announced as no longer a JW in the next 7 days. The elders will consider her actions as disassociation.

CREATIVJAM- The elders have NOTHING on your sister . As the elder stated he heard " rumors of negative speech " and that he " didn't know who said it and he doesn't know any names " . So he doesn't have 2 eyewitnesses to your sisters alleged " negativity " so he's being an idiot elder and doesn't have a THING on your sister. He just wants to bring her down because of some vendetta against you or her.
Tell your sister NOT to meet with the elders. She owes them NOTHING. If she chooses to not attend meetings it's her busines only. The elders WILL try to control her life if she allows them. She doesn't HAVE to allow them anything. They will only have so much power over your life if you allow them to. Just don't meet with them. Good luck to your sister. I think you should call the elder and tell him that the "negative speech" about you that you heard from your family members is causing you emotional stress (and you know that the negative speech came from said elder) and that you are giving them formal warning that they are not to come to your home again, and if they do come to your home again you will view their presence there as trespass and will call the authorities.

Flipper has this right. They are bullying your sister to comply with their desired outcome- that she should have no contact with relatives that are active. Ignore the elders and keep on keeping on. For awhile, maybe watch out that she doesn't try to convert the JW relatives to ex-JW ideas, but that would just be for a few months then business as normal.
A suggestion for you and your sister would be to read Steve Hassan's two books. COMBATTING CULT MIND CONTROL and RELEASING THE BONDS. The first book for yourselves and the second book to better deal with relatives.
