We're killing the fattened young bull and having Osso Bucco (spell?) tonight.
I'm going to the airport right now to pick up my long-time DFed, over 20-years shunned, gay older brother!
He's gonna stay with me (baptized JW in "good standing") my baptized JW wife and unbaptized-publisher kids for a few nights.
The only twisted part of the Prodigal story is WE'RE the ones who screwed up royally, not him!

It reminds me - I have invited my childhood friend (and bestman at our wedding) over for a meal next week , he was DF'd 10 years ago so we have bit of catching up to do.
Bravo, bravo. Regardless of how smooth it goes or not, standing by family is always the right thing to do.
