ATJ, good point. There are lots of places where reputable historians disagree with each other over some (or all) of the facts. Example: nobody knows for sure what happened at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. There is nothing wrong with a person reading up on it and deciding for himself what he wants to think on the subject. The date of the fall of Jerusalem is not one of those events. It is a handful of religious nuts vs everybody else.
Scholar: I'll stop talking about dates when the Watchtower issues a public statement saying they have no idea when the end of the world is going to happen.

JW's have at its heart the idea that any of their doctrines will be believed if they lie, misrepresent, or otherwise demonize all non JW sources.
JW do indeed have "celebrated" scholars. Too bad for them their celebrity comes from getting every prophecy wrong, and for willfully lying about dates. They are also celebrated for putting their own dates out there without any regard for the evidence. They want their own dogma supported. If the dates don't support it, they will simply lie.
My opening salvo said it all, any deluded idiot who would dare suggest that all historians, scholars, and religions have conspired to bury and hide a date for something as trivial as Jerusalem's destruction and implying that this is done to keep the truth hidden that is supposedly deposited into the care of a cult deserves every bit of scorn that they bring upon themselves.

There is perhaps one example given in the bible pertaining to how God or his son viewed
money and the word, is when Jesus entered the the temple and turned over all the tables where money
and business was being conducted. Showing clearly how wrong and disgusting it was to the eyes
of Jesus. If you value your life Scholar I'd suggest keeping your money out men's hands
that trying to procure it by use of the message of god.

This now accurate informatioin loyally upholds the Bible as God's inspired Word rather than the lying prpaganda, demonic attacks on the Bible by higher critics and other opposers which has as its sole objective to destroy the faith, missiion, love and unity of the Lord's people and His Organization. So many fallacies that I find it very difficult to even take this post seriously. So the agenda of the scholars and historians who support 586/7 BCE is to attack the Bible? Destory the faith, mission, love, and unity of the Lord's people and His Organization???? Was the Bible NOT taken into account when the 19th year of Neb's reign factored in to establish 586/7 BCE?
