I was pleased to hear the brothers & sisters cared for her at times.
Shows that some of them even though they are under mind control
let their hearts dictate to them at times like this ((((
So sorry for the loss of your mom. I just lost mine a week ago and am going through the same scenario you described. I'm at peace with the passing but as you say, there is a dread about the days ahead. A whole boat load of feelings are happening because of all the current JW contact and the coming memorial this Saturday.
"We are sooooo close Dag!!! We are almost there!" was part of an email I received yesterday. Makes me sad, the delusion of it all.
I wish you strength for the days ahead and comfort during this diffcult time.
My deepest sympathies. One grandfather of mine had dimentia and it was very difficult for him in his last year.

May your dear mother rest in peace and may you get through this tough time of losing your Mom and dealing with the whole JW thing.
My ex-sister-in-law whom I was still close to passed away on the 2nd of January. She has never been a witness but her brother and a sister of her's are witness. Her JW brother is my ex-husband and he and came in to the witnesses in 1971 then I left him and the religion in 2001. The JW side is always trying to drag the non-jw side into their religious deals. Like the memorial for her is going to be at my ex-husband house and he and his other sister because they are JW's all the JW's will be there. Also the non-witness family will be there too so it is a mixed group. My son was told he could come even through he is disfellowshipped. The witnesses will ignore him and all the family will embrace him. My dear sister-law had no use for the JW's she said it is a bunch of baloney. She knew that her nephew (my son) died because of the refusal of her brother to allow blood transfusions for him to save his life.
The JW is just a world all it own and it is weird, it was weird when I was in it too.
