Regarding your posting of "The Girl From Ipanema": I know a guy in Northern Utah who was from Rio de Janeiro who is a few years younger than I am and he knew that girl from Ipanema (Beach)! Astrud Gilberto was a friend of his. This friend and his family owns property there and he told me in 1997 that he had seen her recently on a visit back home. She still hangs out at the beach there!
Small world, eh?
