That's not exactly true. The catholics didn't just pick that date, they stole it from an ancient pagan religion but that's a conversation for another thread.

The WT's favorite scholar for trashing the Trinity, mantained that Paganism was incorporated into Christianity before the Bible was even completed.... and he considered himself a Christian.....
