    Yiz:

Wow, don't get upset with me over this. Personally, I am not here to judge but I have to admit that I was a bit perplexed when it was suggested that you had no connections to witnesses.

I've only been on this board for the past 5 months. I consider myself a 'countercultist' because I have to be. If I did not have to deal with cults and cultists, I wouldn't. But, some people want to help out cultists even though they have little to no connection with them on a personal level.

    Outlaw:

Yeah, I was reading one of the older posts from 7 years ago.

Some of us who are here have never been witnesses and, as some people correctly point out, therefore can't really know what it is like to be one. I, for example, shudder to think about going out for field service. I can't imagine what it would be like to have doors slammed, for example, and keep going because I have to put in my time every month. I made my number of mistakes when I came here, too, because we all need to watch and learn. But sometimes I do feel left out. Maybe it's just my impression. No one has been disrespectful to me, and a few people have been extremely kind, like Goldensky and Mouthy, for example, and Leavingwt has been a nice intellectual companion a few times. I have felt I have more in common with people like Gary Neal, or Greenie, or, in general, unbelievers. I don't think that's a surprise.

I would really like to say that we the unbelievers are here because we have a need, too. So many of us came here because we fell for a witness and had to have our own share of problems, infinitely less than those of any witness, yes, but they seem important enough for us.

I think we all should bear in mind that most of us are here because of a common pain. Some of us haven't gone through as much as others, and we understand so.

Sorry GaryNeal, it's just an embarrassing issue that they guys love to bring up because it's fun for them. They love it when people make a stupid mistake and gives them am ammunition to heckle and pester them about for days, months and years on. It's called, bullying. It's like never leaving High School. Bullying comes in all forms and they pick on me because they want to feel superior about themselves.

I've been picked on alot in school. The mistake was that I was placed in a hearing school (because my dad did not want a freak for a son, so instead of putting me in a deaf school where I should have been in the first place, no I was placed in a hearing school in special ed instead), kids would make fun of us who are hard of hearing or deaf because we're "different" from the mainstream kids.

Finally, in HS, I was placed in a deaf school. Problem is, I had no foreknowledge of ASL (Sign Language) and I was learning it late in life. So I had alot to catch up on before I can understand what my deaf teachers are saying in ASL. I was severely behind in education because it's difficult to understand what the hearing teachers are saying. I spend all my summers catching up on school work that I kept flunking out on.

All that bullying had a tremendous effect on me growing up from elementary to junior high. When I get bullied here, it brings back alot of the feelings that I had felt back in the day and it makes it extremely difficult for me to deal with it. I try not to let it bother me, but it's hard ya know.

Kids in school don't forget other kid's mistakes and they just use it to make fun of, tease and be downright cruel about it. Being on JWN here just feels like going back to school all over again.

OK Outlaw, I can understand the attachment to "mans best friend"...

I'll take momma spatula...raising spatulas should be easy-cheesy, all you gotta do is use plenty soap and hot water and keep them well dried. Ummm, throw in a couple six packs too? So I can have something to cry in, not getting the dog has made me all teary eyed...

143 to be exact, but who's bragging?

It's a shame I wasted all my years struggling in school and being self conscience of my deafness rather than doing my studies as I should have been.

I guess I had my fair share of living through my "Good Will Hunting", being smart but all farked up at the same time.

I'm with OUTLAW here. On the other thread, Yiz was making blanket statements about XJW's. Of which he knows little, having never been one. As OUTLAW pointed out. And quite frankly,Yiz, you might do better with a little bit of self examination rather than so much finger pointing. What are your real motives in continuing to post your hard time stories?

I think this board generally welcomes all, JW, XJW or never a Dub, as long as they stick to the very liberal guidelines.

Having said that, no one on here suffers fools gladly, so if a stupid remark is made out of ignorance, then expect to be smacked down.

Begging for money on here breaches guideline 6 and ten. But send me your dollars anyway, or just some honey. (The honey should be a busty blonde who owns a brewery, and preferably female)

WELCOME ALL POSTERS Esp. NEWBIES I say.

    Love
