Is it Spring or still Winter where you live? Any photos to prove it?

    Thanks,

    CoCo

Technically spring coMes March 20, but as soon as the highs hit the forties, the winter coats come off and people start doing "spring" things around the house. When the temps reach the mid 50's the bikinis appear.

    Hi, CoCo.

No Spring yet, but I saw some robins this weekend.

Men on motorcycles; first time this weekend since last November. The temp was over 45 and the sun was shining. Spring has sprung.

    Thank you, Blondie and Sylvia:

Yes, it's not officially here yet but yesterday was a doozy - mid-60s, trees and daffodils all in blossom, a cobalt canopy overhead ...

Today it's COLD and cloudy, with more rain ahead. Still a time of transition. I'm shuddering on my front deck, the only place I can get a wifi signal.

Hope that you both are well.

    Gratefully,

    CoCo

Just saw you, VIII, Jonsie and Crapola!

Never know how long I'll keep the signal ...

Yes, the nice weather and early blossoms often belie what the calendar refuses to acknowledge. My friends near you, Mrs. Jones, said yesterday was gorgeous. Here too, 50 miles away.

    Thanks!

    CoCo

We're getting over major snow storms where I'm at. The heaviest snow this area has recieved since the early 90's was about a month ago. For the past week, the Sun has been shining gloriously. It's melting all of this nasty stuff. There's 6 foot mounds of dirty snow/ice that people had shoveled to make room for parking. Every day, I notice they shrink just a little bit, and there's water flowing down certain streets from them melting. Some streets look like a minor water break took place. The sun was so bright this morning, that I had to close the blinds where i work, as the glare on my monitor made it impossible to work. Been a heck of a Winter, glad its almost over. I say almost, cuz this area can get snow in mid to late April.

while walking the dogs this morning
and taking my second fall this winter
i noticed that the boat landing was
busy with trucks pulling fishing shacks
off the bay! a sure sign of spring's
    eventual arrival!!

usually all the ice is out of the bay by
    the first week of may....
