I can relate. I felt exactly the same way after a similar sort of call last week.

So much fun when I am cleaning and hoovering and caring for the sick. I was sorry I missed it. Not sorry I am missing the CO visit though by all accounts this is old school not upbeat and interesting.

I think Spawns approach has some merit.
hmmm.... I just realized I don't get those kind of calls.... maybe they were glad to see me go.
....or maybe they are afraid that if they call and speak to me, their beleif system will be shattered in a 5 minute conversation
who really knows?

If I were to have been hounded on my leaving (which I sort of was but wasn't if you know what I mean) then I would have undoubtedly told one of them to f**k right off.
In fact, nowadays I wish I had went out by telling a few individuals exactly what I thought of them. Just a few, not many.

The CO is at my wifes Hall this week also.
An elder invited me to a meeting. I said no thanks.
I asked if he learned anything new, he said he would share his notes
My response "no thanks".
I must say it was a far better feeling than "faking" it.
