why not. as long as they dont use their money up front to gamble with, it should be ok.

I would say no. The whole programme is based on good or bad luck. Anything to do with lady luck is a JW no no.

It would demonstrate a greedy attitude.

I always felt it was a bit dodgey espeacially with the numerous references to gambelling, luck and chance. What would be the main objection would be the 7 day a week aspect and the meetings you would miss whilst being a contestant.
Love of money etc blah, blah, blah.

I'm no longer considerd a JW, but I can't find a reason not to.
Being from LA originally, we had several in our KH go on game shows to win prizes. One Pioneer won a car and praised JG for helping her win it.
Now some of those Italian game shows where the contestants strip off clothes could get a JW into some trouble. lol

Some of the shows we attended filmed 5 shows in one day, but they made it look like it was each night.

This is the kind of thing that always bugs my backside - blessings in the form of cars rain down on pioneers while others suffer at the hands of abusers for years with nothing...grrrr

I don't see why not.
Sister in my old hall won big on Wheel of fortune years ago when it was a hot new show.
Her daddy was/is a very well known elder. I never heard any of the dubs condemn her for it.

aSphere - Ah, but if it had been called Wheel of Luck she would have been vilified lol
