Well, my wife is the only reason I'm going AT ALL. I don't care otherwise. I need to settle my issues with religion anyway. But she's not going to go anywhere else--she just got private cuss-slapped by the thought police not that long ago; not showing up at a verifiable Memorial? They might take away her commenting 'privileges' again. (Exaggeration...)
But it's okay. I know that was all something I could joke about yesterday, because it is pretty ridiculous when you step back and think about it, that grown men and women are reduced to drooling children by the boys in Brooklyn and all.
She does make it tempting, though, simply to RSVP in the resoundingly negative. Actually, some days it's tempting to just pull over and ask her to step out of the vehicle (in front of the KH). But sorry...must be the uh, self-absorbed cad in me...
