Minimum wage over here in Ontario is going to be 10;75 an hour this summer I think.
One of the many reasons that industries are dying in Ontario.
Can't really blame the people that want the cash, its the cost of living, we did it to ourselves.
Now way we can compete in the global market and that has been the steady decay for years now and will only get worse.

Nugget was offered an admin job at £7.50 an hour - strangely enough she declined.

I deliver pizzas in the southeast US. I get $7.50 an hour while I'm at the store. While I'm on a delivery I get $4 per hour. Drivers average $3 in tips per run at my store. Of course, that fluxuates all the time. The other night I took 13 runs and got tipped for six of them.

Boy, wages are really low in the States.
Massage therapists here charge $80-100 for 45 mins.
They're advertising jobs at the Shell gas station starting at $15/hr.
McDonald's starts at $11.50/hr.

PALMTREE- I have a self-employed commercial ( mostly 95 % ) janitorial business I've run for 27 years. I earn anywhere from $ 20.00 to $50.00 per hour ( sometimes more !) depending on how often I clean an office or building , how dirty it is, or if they want floors stripped and re-sealed and waxed. So for some on the board who think ALL janitors are unintelligent , uneducated dumb farts - think again. Peace out, Mr. Flipper
