I knew him well. He's a real dickhead jerk. He LOVED hearing his own voice. HE represents the GB quite well! He truly looks down on people. He gives off an air of superiority.

What this DO said was echoed in the midwest 2 weeks ago, right down to the words "simplify" and that if we had followed the counsel to simplify we would be in better financial shape.
This suggests to me that it was nationwide, and thus from the WT writers, not just a DO spouting off.
Well, I have this response to Rodrix and Wells, our DO: piss off. I did not simplify and I am doing just fine, thank you. My children all pursued their degrees, and found work in their field, and they are also doing just fine, thank you.
So your counsel didn't hellp me then, because I ignored it. More and more witnesses just are letting that terrible advice go in one ear and out the other.
OR how about this: we can simplify even further, and vote against funding your health insurance and car allowance.
THAT is something I could get behind, yessir.

I know him. I agree he's not the sharpest, dresses well and thinks a lot of himself.
If he re-appointed someone it's because the local Body of Elders recommended it.
He's not the kind to take chances, especially if it could backfire on him. He likes the good life and the accolades.

What's bad is when someone really does believe that they've got it over everybody else but in fact, they are the dense one.
If I recall correctly , he didn't have a happy childhood and had issues with his mother.

I actually always loved Everett and Pam. But, I never knew any of the inside stuff he did. When I first met him I was just a little kid and adored him! Now I'm all grown up and when I had my baby he wanted me to name him after him, lol. I had to tell him I was having a girl, lol. He did hold her after I had her and was really good with her.
He had always been my favorite. It's really sad and weird to hear these things about him.
